Group Shot

Is that a camel in the back row? I'm lacking anything else witty to say after another 10 hour day. Too bad for you. Anyway, here's a group shot of all my KBR coworkers here on the Project:

An Ammonia Plant, you likey?

We had a professional photographer here last week who took a few thousand pictures of the site... So here are a few pictures of the ammonia plant we're buidling. Currently construction is 85% complete. The majority of the work remaining is electrical and instrumentation, and then commissioning/start-up (that's the hard part).

Here's the blurb from my resume: The EBIC ammonia plant complex located in the Suez Industrial Zone on the Red Sea is a grassroot installation of a 2000 MTPD ammonia plant based on KBR Advance Ammonia Process (KAAP) technology with supporting offsites/utilities, ammonia storage, and loading facilities.

Captain to 1st Mate: Ya, this looks like a good place to drop anchor...

Hey, the internet has been down the last few days due to a ship dropping its anchor one of the major communication cables that come from Italy to Alexandria (Egypt) on the sea floor... it knocked out 70% of Egypt's internet/long-distance and a bunch of other mid-east countries. Classic. So if you've sent an important email the last week you may want to re-send it if you were looking for a response...

Here's a few pics from the last few days... nothing too major to report, I've been BBQ'ing like it's goin' outta style... golfing,
