First Supper

I've been doing a 10-day elderberry cleanse that ended on Saturday... I didn't eat anything for 7 days in the middle and only fruit/veggies on the first and last two days. The 7 days with no food was spent drinking elderberry juice, water, herbal teas, and herb vitamins. I had done a 5-day version a couple years ago and decided to try the 10-day'er. It was relatively easy and uneventful. I didn't get terribly hungry because you're always busy drinking the juice and making tea. Physically I was alright, golfing the usual amount and a game of squash with no issues. So all in all i don't want to say it was a waste of time, but I'm not sure exactly what I accomplished. Supposedly it cleans out your liver and kidneys and lungs and stuff, but whatever. I did sort of lose some evidence of one love handle, but not the other. So whoever will be holding on will have to use one hand like a bull rider, but that's ok.

Mom, for my first home cooked meal in the new apartment and my first real food in 10 days I bbq'd a chicken breast and made your pasta with olive oil, garlic, onions, and montreal steak spice. It was delish.

This week there is actually a few 21-30'ish people with one of the golf tour groups, so I've been coherting with them at night a bit. Last night we played pool until 2am, which didn't bode well for my 5:30am alarm clock and 8am meeting. But the moons were aligned and I couldn't turn down another Heineken.

Bizupt.
